The Journey Of Truth is a Production Play about the life and experiences of Sojourner Truth an African American Woman growing up in the 19th Century.
Sojourner Truth not only turned her back on the shackles of slavery, although unable to read or write, yet she joined forces with the American Anti-Slavery Society and worked with powerhouse figures such as Fredrick Douglass, Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth C. Stanton in the fight for women's rights with the American Woman Suffrage Association.
Sojourner Truth took a stance to fight for Equality on both sides of the road.
